So far I've enjoyed coffee from a local place ( https://element-coffee.co.uk/ more interesting blends £10/250g) and Pact/Union who're closer to £7/250g. I probably wouldn't go higher than that so I'll take a look at HasBean
I've been using my Aeropress for around 10 months, 3 to 5 times a week. I'm still no expert, but reckon that I can play with grind and brew time to get a good tasting coffee out most of the beans I buy.
I've been looking at a Hario V60 recently, probably the Craft Coffee Kit so I can make multiple cups, but will I see any benefit by buying one? I like the idea of making more than one cup in a normal future world. but not a problem I really need to solve right now

At the risk of repeating mysen, you could get a V60 with a bag of coffee for the price of a bag of coffee beans / grounds from Pact.

It's different to the Aeropress, will give you all new variables to play with. You won't get the jug with that but if you get along with the method then you could add the server/jug / craft coffee kit components as and when the old normal makes a return.
For two cups, imo, the V60 trumps the Aeropress for having less faff and equally good resultant brews. For one cup, it comes down to preference. I like both. If I had to have one, I'd probably favour the V60 though I'm giving my Aeropress quite a lot of attention just lately as I ordered a Pact Single Origin bag ground for the Aeropress.

Thanks, I have looked at that before. I think I'm still enjoying trying different coffees from different roasters, so would be reluctant to sign up for a plan with Pact. It's cancel any time. Their stuff is quite nice, I found. The subscription, as they call it, can be cancelled once you have the equipment and first bag of coffee in hand, without penalty.
Yeah, my first bag was a Sertao from them and it's become available again. I don't want to be a dick to get free stuff from them, but as you said, that's how their offer works

I think it's intended as a hook; obviously I haven't cancelled and have stayed on because I enjoy the range of coffee. I'm sure some could and will abuse the offer but I should think, given it's a long running offer that it must work in attracting customers and encouraging a loyalty to the brand and service. I never thought I'd be one for a subscription coffee service but over the last year of back to back lockdowns, it's been a small luxury that has been very much valued and enjoyed. For the price of two takeaway coffees, which I'd do in a day when working proper, I have a monthly sub to a changing menu of coffee that I can enjoy at home. I highly recommend to anyone who'll listen, please don't feel I'm singling you out or shoving it down your throat. I just think it's a great way into the V60 route and you might just enjoy the Pact produce too.

I’ve got 3 V 60’s already but it didn’t stop me signing up and getting another one free , I am pretty settled on the beans I use but it will be educational for me to get a new coffee every month to try .

+1 on the vertuo, its a dangerous working from home machine though, far too easy! Have a back up Delonghi Perfecta which hasn't had much of a look in since.

My weekday daily coffee ritual in the morning is to drip a large mug and take it to my home office to start my day. I use grocery store ground coffee -- something like Maxwell House, Folgers or Medaglia Doro. On the weekends when I get to linger and enjoy my coffee, I usually brew up a 4 cup pot of espresso and drink the whole pot. I call it my energy drink.
