I'm genuinely happy for the people that are managing to get hold of a Wolfman, and even more so that I got one before they became so difficult to obtain.

I don't like the way he's handling demand these days though.

I agree with Str8-Shaver as you know. I have no doubt whatsoever that Wolfman Razors are among the nicest you can get. My comments are not sour grapes. I know it may come across as so but it isn't. I'm seriously pee'd off with his business model. I too am happy for anyone who gets to own one and wish them many wonderful shaves with it. I know he will sell every single piece he makes and always will but how he goes about it is in my humble opinion totally wrong. Oh and the thing that really gets my Goat! When you are restricting your product you shouldn't allow someone to own more than one. That is an even worse thing to have flaunted.

Can't agree more. Maybe we should consider that as great a machine operator James might be that doesn't automatically mean he is also a experienced seller - businessman. He might be doing the best he can.

I got a stand finally.

I think you'll really like it. Got mine today:

The stand is hands down the nicest one I've seen and hold a razor in an almost majestic way;

...and the standard blade gap Wolfman didn't shave any better than some other razors imo. I got an early one but I found I actually much preferred the inexpensive Ikon X3 when that was released. Gave the Wolfman to my brother but he's enjoying his Mergress much more. Somewhat of a harsh shave for me.

I think the thing that irritated many gents (via a lot of PM's) was that a select few on another forum, including its Administrator at the time, flaunted in threads their various Wolfmans in exotic metals while claiming the architect of the Wolfman was a very dear friend with impeccable ethics...never having actually met the man.

If you want to buy a Bugatti , Rolls or what ever luxury item that's a high demannd on, you have to get on a waiting list, but as proffesional's, thees companies don't make a lottery out of the waiting list...... For those who do get one, I hope you enjoy it

Would of agreed having had a standard gap one in the past. Now I have had a .74 gap one for a week and haven't picked up anything else.
It really is better, now, how do I get a BBS1..?

I agree, the waiting list should not be a lottery. Wolf Whiskers brushes are hard to obtain too but at least with Peter you know that once you're on the list you're going to get one.
