If you don't use, it's just an ornament or part of a collection, unless there's some emotional/sentimental attachment. If you need to free up some cash sell it, easy to replace again when your solvent. Question is really, how much will you miss it, if you seldom use at currently....move it on, at a price your happy with

I agree that I'd you don't use it much that you would be happy selling it. The fact you don't use it much suggests you have other razors you prefer, so you'll end up using the razors you prefer more often and enjoy your shaves more. Just make sure you sell at a price you're happy with.

Wise words guys, I think it is just the fact that they are rare makes me want to keep it. It is one of my better shavers, but the 6c for example, spanks it for "best shaver."

Seems you solved the question by selling your TR-1 (instead)? I've sold off a few things lately, but have thought of it for a while and let it mature until it has been right. And I haven't looked back. If you never reach for it, best move on. Always new things on the horizon, eh? Unless you think that it may rise in price and you want to make a profit - which I take it is already the case with Webers?

I may even sell both! Not sure if I'll get the "going rate" on BST, but it does save faffing about with eBay/PayPal fees. I'm always open to offers and I'm fairly hard to offend

Now that it's sold, I don't feel guilty about giving my opinion. My answer is 'No, you won't regret it'. Nor should you.

It's a decent enough razor and one that I'd be perfectly happy to have if it were my only safety razor. However, the shave is very similar to the Merkur HD and the build quality little better. They were fairly priced by Weber Razors at the time when they were priced at £60-70. I look back on the ARC and Polished Webers I once owned with happy memories but in no way would I be interested at the prices they evidently reach on the second hand market.

Good decision. It was overhyped liked a lot of things in this hobby. The hype built slowly after its 2012 release but, granted, the market wasn't saturated with stainless like it is today.

I never understood reading how much better people preferred it over the Merkur HD. Exact same design (except heavier) and the Weber gave the exact same shave as the 34c.

I would never sell mine Lee. Also I've had the DLC and ARC and imo the polished one is the best of the bunch.

I would politely disagree. I own all three (ARC/DLC/PH) and the DLC is the best of the three. It's my "desert island" razor and will be the one I take to my grave.

Lee, if you didn't get a good shave from it, then it's best to move it on. No regrets.

I agree with @Burgundy and @vtmax, it is pretty much a stainless Merkur 34. IMO that's a good thing and I love mine but there's no way I'd pay what they're going for now for one.
