Myrsol Shaving Cream 1kg format is made with lanolin and glycerine. Glycerine makes the blade glide smoothly and reduces razor burn and rashes. Lanolin protects and calms the skin after shaving.

It creates a richy and creamy leather, preparing the skin for shaving by softening and lifting the beard.

Made in Spain.

Plus shipping. when I got mines a few other chaps asked for a 150g sample so sold a bit on.
If ordering from Gifts and care with a few other things it works out well.

I want to like it but having tried a sample I can't get used to the scent and post is for some reason drying on me.

Not too sure yet. And in responding as I have, I don't think so as a rave about so many other creams and soaps. It was an emergency buy in Greece as my TOOBS mr Taylor's cream tube broke and I could not salvage any...for me it does perform well but I want performance, scent and finish and it lacks in the latter two.

It is a really odd one, but the lather is top drawer and the random sales and promotions at BS can make it cheap as chips.

I haven't used creams in the last 12 months but I was were to go back to using, I'd probably be using these:

GFT Coconut Oil - delish scents, great performance
Salter's French Vetiver - nice protection and slip, can be a bit sensitive to too much water, BADASS scent!

At this moment I am torn between Tobs "Jermyn Street",
Beautiful Fougere scent but fades quickly
And,
Truefitt & Hill, 1805 shaving cream.
Absolutely love this fresh and oceanic fragrance, that lasts ages.
Both lather quickly and provid a wonderful cushion for the blade.
A little goes a long way.
to date I have only used the cream versions of these two but
I have a Truefitt & Hill, 1805 shaving soap due to arrive this week.

I haven't tried every cream out there .. I consider myself a hard soap guy, but in my opinion, Castle Forbes is the gold standard by which all others should be judged. I have the Lavender, but I intend to try Sandalwood next, being a Sandalwood lover.
A cream that I initially didn't like, and had trouble with was the Simpsons line, but the issues were my own fault! Once I learned it, it performs superbly for me!
