What's today weather

Crikey that’s cold! I’d rather that than the 30+ some are suffering through though. Here it’s been a rather more temperate 0 for most of the day. Currently -2.
It runs the gamut from -30C or more in winter to +30C or more in summer here. The first really hot or cold day grabs your attention though. Enjoy your moderate temps.

The coldest I remember it getting here was -15c. I didn’t mind that but the great heatwave of 2018 when it was pushing 30c was Hell on Earth.
Yea, -15C is no so bad and neither is +30C if it is dry which I suspect it is not in the UK. Humidity/dampness can make the heat and cold feel a lot worse.

That's the problem with hot weather in the UK. I've been to Egypt when it was pushing 40C and that wasn't too bad because it was dry, here it just gets oppressive because it's humid with it. That's one drawback to our climate, we get moderate temperatures but it's a damp kind of place.

We had bit of chill going on but since yesterday it is unusually warm by 6 degrees celsius for this time in evening.
