Took me two weeks to learn how to create a proper face and bowl lather, until I finally figured out what works comfortably on my face when I first started wet shaving, straight out of the airy shitty can goo cream.

No.... I have been using the airy since I was in spinal rehab hospital, I won't be touching that crap again, unless I might end up back in hospital if my spinal lower back play up again in the future.

My first de shave was a Gillette slim adjustable which I alternated with a Fatboy for 40 years. The blade was a Wilkinson sword, the brush a culmak. I can't remember the soap/cream.
Then I found these forums and now have enough kit to see me out.

The ability to use a Razor Bev it DE, SE, or is a SKILL. Practice builds skill. Nothing about Wet Shaving IMHO is like seeking CURE for CANCER.

It is learning from mistakes, going slow, and practicing........only time teaches, if you give up on learning your a LOOSER.

Cost me £11 and I remember telling the wife I was going to save a fortune with this set as I wouldn't need to buy a thing for over a year.
Great plan until I joined a bloody shaving forum.

The razor will always have a place in my den because it was my first and it's not a bad shaver tbf.
