It's good that your walking is doing well. Great stuff.had a fun morning... had to walk 3 miles-ish to meet-up with a pony to go pick-up drug refills... the walk was quicker than expected... it seems like our walking speed is back to our normal... also while waiting for a pony to go home... had a "karen" experience... which will have her finding a low-pressure or flat-tire on her vehicle this evening... put a piece of aluminum-foil in a valve cap...
yes she was a nob... or many angry terms... hahaha... and been doing that tire valve trick since being a teen... used to have a valve tool and some valves got loosened up that way...It's good that your walking is doing well. Great stuff.
Also, if I'm reading that right - I think someone was a nob to you on your way back and you tinkered with the valve on their tyre to give them a nice little gift for later. Sweet![]()
Similar experience last week. I was stood on the footpath outside my house chatting to a neighbour. An older woman, never seen her before, drove up and shouted MOVE. She wanted to park on the footpath where I was stood because she was visiting someone 100 yards away and this place was convenient. I told her that was not my problem, she wasn't happy, but then moved to another house and parked on their drive, when the owner came home he called the police but they said it was a private matter. He went to find the owner, she told him 'well, I cannot move the car because I have had a drink now, you will have to wait. Four hours later the car was gone, the person she was visiting tells all the world that I am the bad person, apparently all my fault because I would not get out of her way.yes she was a nob... or many angry terms... hahaha... and been doing that tire valve trick since being a teen... used to have a valve tool and some valves got loosened up that way...
@Smiffy you were at fault... she had to walk longer to go see who she was visiting... how dare you take up a parking spot in front of your house just chatting with a neighbor... hahaha...Similar experience last week. The bottom line is that I am too old to be told what to do by people that I do not know and are not in a position of authority. Being an awkward curmudgeon, I would probably seek to do the opposite of whatever they wished!@Smiffy you were at fault... she had to walk longer to go see who she was visiting... how dare you take up a parking spot in front of your house just chatting with a neighbor... hahaha...
