It’s kind of funny, in a way, but not. Y’know?
I am not a person who tells people what to do but then we should all take responsibility for ourselves, if they lie about how much they drink then the problem is not owning up, no one cares about their drinking but maybe they should

One of these Alans was out of his mind on booze on a night out in Madchester city centre, he was so bad that taxi drivers refused to take him home and called their base stations to warn others. Alan found his way to the Manchester bus station, it was about 2am, and managed to use his mobile phone to call his wife and say 'please come and pick me up, I am on a bench near the bus station entrance'. He was soon joined by a homeless person who apparently was not best pleased that he couldn't lie down.

Alan made the silly mistake of calling his wife on her work landline instead of her mobile, he was still there at 9.00am, one bus station employee told Alan that he could smell him before he saw him.

I signed up for one of these search services that can trace forgotten bank accounts or old pension schemes, I found nothing but went through the motions as the service was recommended by a TV financial expert.

The day after I did the search my spam emails went from 1 a week to 15-20 a day, I asked the company what was going on and they said that they do not sell data or email addresses but the coincidence seems a bit too much, same email address for 25 years and this spam had just gone nuts. I have gone through all the blocking or deleting ideas that are on gmail but if I had my time again I would have created a secondary and disposable email address.

The biggest success was finding that most of the scammers come from once source. In the From field in Advanced I entered *firebaseapp.com and delete and do not send to spam, 90% of the spam has gone, or at least, not visible.
