got a early chilly wake up call... butt learned the internet hotelers next door are still awake and we will be giggling later this morning when the loud yard-work that doesn't need to be done gets done...

well the chilly wake up was our stupid self leaving the windows open forgeting there would be a 20ish degree temp drop overnight... and we heard some talking in the early hours before closing the windows...

I think I would check for rodent damage in the cabin heater

No traces of rodents in the cabin, the heater is blocked. It'll be replaced at the end of summer

That is good to hear. I was thinking more along the lines of of rodents getting in to the engine air intake and making a mess of the cabin air filter.

Fortunately there's no rodent of that kind where i live, and even if there was, they'd have to go though a significant amount of plastic and the cabin fan to get to the cabin filter.

Good to know. Here we have mice and squirrels that can and do get to the that area of the car. It has happened to me.

Have seen a painted lady butterfly. Not as easy to find these days but I dare say the heat will have helped them migrate.
