Most all of the camping equipment is stored, and the tents have been air dried for storage until the next time we need them. The paddling equipment is back in the mesh bags and the paddles back in the canoe where I keep them.
The big tent is made by a company in the US called Big Agnes. I got the tent in 2014 and the zippers are beginning to fail. I contacted the company as my son suggested and to my surprise, they do repairs. This model is now $600, so the postage and repair cost will be less than replacement. It is packed in a cardboard box and ready ship out soon.

12 years is a good life for a tent. Even at $600 for a brand new one - 50 bucks a year - you can't really argue especially for a larger tent.
Glad you could get it repaired. I always prefer to keep and repair things rather than renew.

It's TGIF even though I am retired. Lunch later with the eldest whose suggested a birthday gift from L.L. Bean. I check the obituaries, and I am not listed. Good to be alive and well. There are many people suffering around the world. I want to be mindful and never complain about the small stuff.

Listening to choral music this AM while working on Wordle and Connections.
We all want a good life and to be a good person. Yesterday I read where a young man resorted to shaming and name calling on social media. This person came from poverty, being raised by a grandparent, went into the military, and then an ivy league university. None of those experiences produced a good person or a good life.

Attending two amateur musical theatre concerts where my 13yo granddaughter performed a solo.
She loves musical theatre and goes to local classes. The show was by her group and they had been practicing hard all week.

Mark, it’s all vocal, group and solo performances. They performed songs from various shows, like Sister Act, Guys & Dolls, that style.
Music, in this concert, was backing tapes. At other times, it’s a live band.
