I'm not sure my granny had a muzzle loader?Could have come with a set and just has a handle that matched the others.
You can use it to trim the patch on your muzzle loader.![]()

Yes, the one on the left looks very similar..It reminds me of a grapefruit knife, although the ones I've seen have serrated blades and a slight curve at the end. It could have a similar function - for cutting around the inside of something.
Having looked through google images at grapefruit knives, I've found very similar. Smooth cutting edges and rounded tops.
For example:

I am wondering if Sid's post got missed as it was at the bottom of page one.I think it is a shellfish/shucking knife, the ones I’ve seen myself usually have a shorter and broader blade but looking here shows a wide variety.

You know, I think you might of just found what it is.Slight variation ...
Maybe a scallop knife?
The purpose of an oyster shucker is to physically prise open the tough shell. With scallops, the knife is used to cut through the membrane and then twist as well as having a little length to slip under the scallop. The blunt end would make some sense for that task. Whenever I've dealt with scallops, it's been with a short utility knife. I'd happily use this knife for the task.
Here's a scallop knife ...
