I’m currently using the Rotring 600 but fancied something new. Just ordered (from Cult Pens) the Kaweco Aluminium Pencil 0.5.

Now I can compare the Featherweights ER v GEM

Just unwrapped the GEM - interestingly the head profile is different but I think there were two versions of the FW? The cap is flatter on the GEM FW and the head seems sleeker (but milder maybe?).

The ice maker in our refrigerator knocked out awhile back. I have been using ice trays but, that’s a hassle. Checking on repair for the ice maker the parts and labor were $500.00! Last night I ordered a counter top ice maker. It should be here Monday. It costs about $160.00.
