Does it count that last night I went to see my friends band play in a local bar. But here's the thing. 11 piece band with three horns and two singers. R&B so, think Chaka Khan, EWF (and EWF renditions of Beatles), Temptations (burning version of Papa Was A Rolling Stone), etc. Great band with mostly pro level players having fun. My friend is a retired investment banker and funds the effort. The net result is one fantastic, tight, grooving band.
