Same here, although it's mostly blokes that have been like that, lately.

I was in a restaurant last week, two women came in and sat down, at least one of them had so much perfume on that the food tasted of their perfume. I smelled their perfume as they walked passed and they were sat five metres from me, I wasn't the only one who moved away. No idea what the perfume was other than just overpowering.

I just despise it, especially on blokes. It's a definite no, don't even think about it. Vile.

That’s kinda common here in the US. Not an everyday occurrence. But definitely pulsating forehead vein inducing. Some so heavily, I swear it eats the oxygen in the air as it wafts off them like a wake from a speedboat. Kind of uncalled for..and a pet peeve of sorts. Subtle is good.

I haven’t really experienced any soap/as combos that were revolting per se. Some are better than others. Then again, I’ve only been doing this for shy of 6 years.

The worst fragrance I’ve tried is not to do with the scent, but the reaction I had to it. A few years ago I tried a couple of Goodfellas aftershave which gave me a very bad rash on my face. The rash lasted for several weeks and prevented me from wet shaving; I had to shave with an electric razor every other day until the rash was gone.

Someone told me that you transferred the liquid from the plastic to a glass bottle, and wait for at least a week. The Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve will smell heaps better from the glass bottle, instead of the original plastic bottle crap.

Yes. I've heard that too. I think I'll give it a try and see if it changes the scent much. I don't hold out much hope for it to change that drastically but stranger things have happened.....

I have indeed used the stuff, and a little on the hands goes a very, very long way, whether you got it on you by accident or not.
