Well thing is I keep telling my mrs to use de razors but she's adamant on being waxed lol

The local beauty salon she goes to is actually owned by a guy but all female staff as it's females only anyways but good money I assume lol

it is good business for sure, a colleagues Mrs has her own business and can make £400+ a day !

My two former barbers, before I moved, were females who could handle a shavette. I aske one if she used a shavette for herself and she said "hell no"......LOL!!

My barber, before I started buzz cutting, was a woman and one of the best barbers I’ve had. She’s retired now and my current barber is a woman: my wife because I started buzz cutting with the onset of Covid-19 and have decided to keep it that way. My wife’s hair stylist is a man.

I make up a lather for the wife and she has now started using DE razors to shave her legs. Started her off with a Wilkinson Sword sticky and now she has advanced to a Karve C plate (closed). Only cheap synthetics so far as she left the brushes in the lather bowl, unwashed. I say no more.

My daughters and wife own a Henson razor. Yes I gave it to them. And yes I’ve also given them shave soap. I don’t think they want to discuss it with us thou.

Tbh, imo and fwiw,, I think the preponderance of all sorts of fora is a good thing. Besides shaving forums I used to also enjoy a few guitar related fora. It’s fun talking about common interests! Despite it’s faults and imperfections, the interwebs allows like-minded folks to connect. Yes, for sure there are plenty of whackos with weird and unconventional ideas out there, but the other hand finds really nice communities like this one and other similar sites..
