Visual Migraine anyone?

Unrelated to your ailment, and with my apologies to @JamieM for the tangent, I do have awful tinnitus every waking moment. It’s like the loud, high pitched sound an alarm keypad makes after the alarm has been set, before walking out and locking the door; only much higher pitched. Likely due to years playing loud rock’n’roll and heredity (my Dad was afflicted). The only time I’m unaware of the shriek is while sleeping.

Yea, have that too. I attribute that to having my hearing damaged in the military.

The visual phenomenon you experience must be quite disconcerting to say the least. I really feel for you folks! Occasionally I experience awesome bursts of swirling colors while listening to music. Different tones, pitches and volumes vary the colors, patterns and intensity of the swirls. Thankfully migraines aren’t part of the deal.

I feel your pain, Brother, my Wife also suffers from bad tinnitus, she uses Alexa to play white noise whenever I leave the bedroom.

Your reply made me stop and think… white noise generation (google home or other similar devices) hasn’t been successful for me, but the sound of water running in the shower masks the tinnitus very effectively. Unfortunately I can’t spend the day in the shower.
