USPS Gone to Hell?

It happened to me that the packages were addressed correctly but the operator at the post office puts wrong country code. Once a package went to Moldova instead of Montenegro because they only scan bar code of the package and don't look at the address before it comes in destination country. Usually it's then sent to correct country.

Arrived today! Phew. It had in fact gone to France, was spotted by La Poste and then sent on its way from there to me. Crazy, round-the-world trip.
We are living in a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, world on earth today for the rest of the entire humanity life until death or RIP

Crap service from USPS is because they can not get rid of DEADWOOD Employees, who don't care.

This is why UNIONS are not GREAT.

A number of years ago I sent a brush to a friend in Portugal. It found its way back to my doorstep six months later. I placed the first carton into another, addressed it exactly the same way, and my friend received it about two-three weeks later. No rhyme nor reason :scratchhead:

Extortion racket.
I formed a prisons teachers union back in the 1980s, and we fought and won a number of important battles including getting - at last - regular wages payments. Perhaps unions are different in the US? Here, they brought us a 40 hour week, annual paid leave, worker's compensation for work-related injuries, and brought women's wages into parity with men's. Far from an extortion racket. A fair union - and that includes unions for front-line services staff like nurses, paramedics, police and military - acts lawfully in the interests of members and stands up against employer extortionists. Not all employers are extortionists by any means; not all unions are entirely reasonable. But, that's politics. Perhaps we should stick to discussions about shaving? This is not a subject I brought up. :)

One of the brushes that arrived. :)

Used Shavemac, 3-band, fan-shaped D0-1 Silvertip with a 173 handle. Knot 24; loft 52. Looks great, I think.

Uncertain of the vintage, but in very excellent condition. Here it is after a very mild white-vinegar/borax soak and shampoo.
