Interesting thread. Makes it even more interesting read during these special Covid infested times.
In past I have tried to read up and become some sort of 'expect' on these matters but soon gave up being more befuddled than I was; given the vastness of what I was trying to deal with. Worse still, I am still on fence, which alien camp to join.
Questions pop up more questions than answer any and somewhere along the lines difference between Aliens, God and evolution blurs to enters the gory realms of consciousness.
Thankfully the madness left as fast it developed and I got busy with 'life'. Perhaps the lesson was, don't try to read too much between the lines or try to decipher how God works or if Aliens are prospecting the earth secretly for resources. On the topic of God and his aliens, the mere idea of God brought mankind where it is today, at the brink of a very large abyss. That Godot is never going come visiting you but perhaps aliens will. However they dont leave any visiting cards so there is this element of surprise or credulity.

What about consciousness and the conjurer? I don't know anything about it because as a working middle class bread earner for family I am not aware how it works but some people like to discuss these serious matters with unbounded passion here

But it gives me a chuckle when someone explains to me bits of how evolution works. Why men always ready for action at drop of hat or pants for the fact of matter, whereas women just don't want to see the light and they take ages to get ready for action. Evolutionists tells me it all started when Cro-Magnon and Neanderthals came face to face. Male of both sides wanted to expand and establish colonies by raiding the shelters of each other; make the ladies pregnant and withdraw ASAP from the scene. See the logic, ladies just don't want to be standing there and welcome possible rapists from opposite camps. Thanks to this branch of evolution men is having to deal with the shame of early ejaculation. On the side note, another puzzling development is Homo erectus could mate only like primates (females with colourful genitals that were so attractive to males) but turning into Homo Sapiens (Cro magnon and Neanderthal combined) someone at evolution engine (Possibly God or Aliens?) thought Hey now let's give nice pair of well-endowed knockers to the ladies so man is attracted to them and facilitates a missionary pose mating.
More than God and Aliens, the burning question is, who is driving this old VW Beetle and where is the next stop?
