TV shows you are - or will be - watching.

I'm watching a few new series on Netflix, altered Carbon, The Punisher and the first two episodes of the second series of Jamestown on BBC.
I watched "Altered Carbon", too. It looks terrific, and the acting is rather good as well for the most part. The premise is intriguing, but the story itself is kind of a mess, I think, and they seem to lose sight of it halfway through to spend more time with blood splatter and nudity. Poe/The Hotel was easily my favourite character.

Having watched just two episodes, I agree with all those points. I might continue watching, but I suspect that the messy storytelling is more likely a result of confused writing rather than a profound plot.

I've also dipped into season 1 of Designated Survivor. Again, an appealing premise. I've managed a few episodes but the spoon-fed plot and cheesy over-extended sentimentality (that episode with the Navy SEALs mission, oh dear) has put me off watching any further.

I hadn't heard of Ozark until seeing it mentioned above. Sounds like it's worth a watch.

One of the best show ever, The Godfather and Greek tragedy mixed in the poor suburbs of Naples. I've watched the 3 seasons.

EDIT: the episode in Bulgaria is EPIC.
I loved the first series. I had no idea that there was a second AND a third series. Thanks for the heads up!

Dr Who on Netflix, started with Matt Smith and Amy Pond watched through to the last Capaldi available and then jumped back to Eccleston.
Really enjoyed it on the whole, some niggles and sighs but still most enjoyable. Nearly cried when I got to the first meeting with River Song, watching time travel out of sequence worked well.
Agents of Shield at the mo' not bad, bit American but actually works well. Just got to the post Hydra bit - which seems a bit different.
