I'd 100% agree with that assessment. Some of the lesser side stories are often boring, directionless and totally pointless... they try and entertain a lot of non essential characters with dead end plots. The whole 'Three Eyed Crow' thing is/was headbutt the wall stuff. But there have been some really great moments that keep you hanging in there.
Yep, it absolutely has to be... although I really hope the ending involves Tyrion taking Bron and the leader of the White Walkers out for a night on the beer/brothels before chopping his (White Walker) head off with a Valerian steel steak knife.
I also binged on Godless over the weekend. Excellent show, atmospheric and compelling. A worthy successor to Deadwood and Hell On Wheels.
One of my favourite shows too, you just know that those guys are hard as nails.
I read the John Wyndham novel many years ago. I never knew that there was a TV version of Chocky. I will have to track it down.I just watched the most excellent children's drama Chocky which I enjoyed first time round in the 80's. Based on the book by John Wyndham (also excellent obviously). I will now watch the two subsequent spin off series and then get started on Grange Hill.
Easy to find on Youtube, just don’t expect too much in the way of special effects.
