Currently watching The Mandalorian, SEE, Sanditon, Mare Alta.

Such a shame i can not acces BBC iPlayer here in Belgium as we (my wife and I) love British series, TV shows etc...
If i could acces British TV (i can watch ITV though) i would cut the cord as they say.

Could this be what you're looking for? I haven't checked if it's available worldwide. I think it will bomb in the UK TBH. Either worth having a look into.

I’ve just watched two episodes of Season 3 of The Crown. I found them disappointing due to Olivia Colman’s weak and unconvincing portrayal of QE II. I’d prefer to see Helen Mirren in that role. On the other hand, my wife enjoyed both episodes and disagrees with my assessment of Colman, but she does agree that Mirren was excellent as QEII in The Queen.

I would hold judgement on Olivia Coleman until you’ve watched episode 3. I don’t think she’s as good as Claire Foy though.

I would imagine Helen Mirren is more suited to an older Queen.

I do think Helena Bonham Carter is miscast though. Never rated her in anything TBF.

Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip steals the show for me.

Well, I guess it's a slow burn, the show has more of an old-fashioned structure, as in a string of loosely connected one-off episodes. They do lead several of them together in the serie finale though, and set up a path for the second series.

I enjoy it a lot, actually more so than most other Star Wars I've seen (which basically comes down to Episodes I to VI). Fewer annoying characters, more fun with the setting. (But then again, I also think "Better Call Saul" is way better than "Breaking Bad", for much the same reasons.)

I'm currently about halfway through "The Expanse". It took me three tries over the years to get beyond the first one or two episodes, and I don't regret giving it another go. Some of the stuff makes no sense at all, some of the stuff is very trivial writing, but the character development mostly works, and sets and CGI are quite impressive for a TV series.

Once you get past the dubbed dialogue (which has been done very well) I'm really enjoying it.

Mrs Crossroads and I have just 'box setted' the whole of Game Of Thrones, bar the last 3 episodes. We started in mid December and I have to say, it was much easier to follow all the sub plots without weeks/years between episodes.

Just finished the first seasons of Messiah and Servant, excellent shows. Also started The Outsider (first two episodes), very promising.

Making my way through Westworld (Anthony Hopkins) - netflix dvd. Almost done with season 2.

I started to watch the Sky1 drama "Cobra", which has a promising premise (how does the government cope with a prolonged nationwide blackout?) and cast (Robert Carlyle, Richard Dormer). Unfortunately, the show spends a suprisingly huge amount of time on stuff like the PM's chief of staff's love life or the quesion of if and how to cover up the PM's daughter's involvement in her best friend's drug overdose death instead. Yawn.

Switched to the new series of "Father Brown". Jolly good comfort food television which neither overpromises nor underdelivers.

Money Heist or La Casa de Papel in original. Just went trough 4 episodes, it looks interesting but what I can't imagine how they managed to stretch it for so many episodes.
