Tom Ford shaving cream

Looking for a bit of advise. I have tried various brushes (synthetic, boar and badger) and amount of water and still can't get this cream to work. I have resorted to rubbing it on with fingers but have to reapply after each direction. Am I doing something wrong?

I'll bet you are doing nothing wrong but it is just that it is a brushless shave cream as in not meant to be used with a brush. Been burned ike that myself and find the give away is the instruction for use saying something like spread it with your finger or it may be used with a brush. Don't believe the brush part. If you want to try a shave cream that lathers well using a brush get yourself something like a tube of Palmolive, Tabac or The Body Shop's Maca Root.

Thanks Bob,
I have a few creams but I do prefer a soap. All the other creams, mainly executive shave, are good with a brush. I do like the cooling effect and scent of the Tom Ford, so I guess I will just have to keep applying with fingers. Considering the cost of the cream and having to reapply after each directional stroke, I won't be buying it again.

I bet that the Maca Root performs better than this one for 9£.
