Absolutely, it's cheap enough to use a good dollop each shave.
I do wonder if there's been a reformulation recently? I purchased a tub of Sandalwood cream directly from TOBS and it's a little different to previous tubs I've had... The cream is brilliant white whereas I remember previous one's having a brown tint? It's very firm, more like a Razorock croap than traditional cream. Also the scent, while instantly recognisable as TOBS Sandalwood it's less spicy and more soapy. Maybe it's just batch variation.

Agree - my latest tub is firmer than I remember. I thought it was just that it had gotten really cold on the doorstep, but at room temperature it is still a lot firmer than it used to be.

My tub of Avocado (ordered at the same time) is the same but having never used that before I couldn't say if it's changed. Now I think about it these are the same consistency as Trumper & T&H creams, firm and dense. In the past my TOBS creams have all been quite runny.

Aha, so you did! Although not confirmed by TOBS themselves the current evidence suggests something has changed, be it formulation or manufacturer.
With my new one's I've found performance to be adequate though I remembered them being slicker.
I’ve just received a tub of Eton College shaving cream, which I’ll start using in a fortnight or so once I’ve finished a tub of Fendrihan Aloe Water shaving cream (lovely stuff BTW). After a few uses I’ll revert on how I find the Elton College. I hope I’m not disappointed as I’ve been a die hard user of TOBS shaving creams for the last 25 years.

Definitely interested to know if it is different base formulas for different creams now. I know some have historically been better than others but I assumed that was simply because of 'flavour' with the actual bases being the same. Now I am wondering if there is more than one manufacturer in place for different creams.

I think you'll be fine. Just used it for this evenings shave and enjoyed every second... I could happily use nothing but TOBS for the rest of my life (provided I had a good rotation of scents to prevent boredom!)
