I had my first shave with the TT (Titanium Timeless) yesterday morning. I did video this, however it doesn't look great with some very questionable lighting. I'll probably just post this on the site as opposed to YouTube at a later date.
I must emphasise that my opinions are after just one shave, without a mirror and using a brand new brush. First of the basics. The lighter weight makes it much easier to manoeuvre around the face. I quite like the sturdy feel of the SS version and it is by no means difficult to shave with, when considering its weight. However the TT is as solid just much much lighter. I found the teeth to feel a little more 'scrapey' with the TT. Again I must emphasise, no mirror and first use. So I need to spend more time on this side as I usually prefer OC razors. I may also need to get used to the matt finish and this feel on the skin. Like the ATT OC razors the teeth have a similar surface feel, especially when on the skin. The SB was exceptionally smooth. It was as smooth as some of my Japanese straights. You feel the blade and hear it cutting but it is probably the most comfortable razor I have used. I was blown away by the SB side. As always the razor is highly efficient. A weeks growth down to DFS in one pass. The dual comb nature allowed for 3 passes, where the SS OC's optimum is 2 passes.
In conclusion, aesthetically IMO SS is better. I prefer the finish and noticeable weight. In terms of the shave, the Titanium makes adjusting pressure and angle easier. Saying this I didn't find adjusting to the SS hard. The OC being polished on the SS version is smoother for me. But I will update this opinion with extended use. The SB at 0.95mm is excellent, superb and improves on the SS SB tenfold. It blew me away. I do find the SS to look more expensive and feel more expensive than the Titanium but that is just down to personal preference. The TT SB 0.95mm is my current favourite from the entire Timeless range. I look forward to mixing stainless and titanium components on the same razor as all parts are interchangeable.
It seems the head is also of a slimmer profile on the TT but I could be wrong.
