Does any have thought/preferences with these blades? I will try the ones you like most first.

the photo with the red background... I wouldn't go near any of those blades to be honest. The photo with the white background, there are some very nice blades in there. Gillette Platinum and Silver Blue, Astra Green and Blue.
I wouldn't use the green Derby or the blue supermaxx.... very rough shaves in my case. Just my 2 cents ;-)

These samples reminded me of a business that used to exist where you could try one blade at a time. The name was Try-A-Blade. They have a FB presence, but I recall they had some challenges. Here is a source that popped up while searching.

I just got a sample blade set on eBay and I am experimenting with them now. Two of each of these blades. Any comments about these blades is appreciated. Bolzano first out of this group I have tried.

I like the Personnas, Astra greens and Gillette Silver Blue out of those.

Gillette Silver Blue would be the pick of the bunch
although i do like the Treet & the Gillette Platinum but only the Russian version of platinums

I have been using Personna Red blades for years…
…Now I am trying different blades and have found blades that I much prefer over the Personna blades. Just this week I tried a green label Astra blades that and I just shaved today with a Bolzano blade. I found both far superior to the Personna blades. I have grown tired of the glue left on the Personna blades.

My DE blade of choice 75% of the time has been the Personna Platinum Chrome for over a decade. Most were the 10 pack tucks, but I also have used plenty of the “Red” 5 pack tucks. Don’t recall ever seeing wax on the blades. Do you have a picture of the package and the blades?

Red background photo. The Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades are great.
The Tatra and the Israeli unbranded are both decent for me too.
White background photo. Sharks are my favourite. Probably of all time.

I have been using Personna Red blades for years in my old Vikings Blade razor. Back then shaving was a chore. The discovery of Vintage Gillette Adjustable razors and Stirling Soap Company shave soap changed my life forever. I now look forward to shaving!
Now I am trying different blades and have found blades that I much prefer over the Personna blades. My fav blades are Wizamets, Gillette Platinums, Kai and Personna Comfort Coated. I love The Comfort Coats and Kai's mainly due to the fact that they have no glue or wax on them.

Recently I discovered another gem, The Treet Dura Sharp. Didn't like most of the Treet blades I have used in the past but the Dura Sharp surprised me with how comfortable yet efficient they were to use. They work beautifully in most Gillette razors specially the Aristocrat and in a few modern ones as well. No glue or wax, they are PTFE ( Teflon Coated ) and for me, they can last for a good three shaves. Give them a shot, they might surprise you
