Thoughts on Abate y la Mantia soaps/creams

Hello everyone!
Have you tried different Abate y la Mantia soaps?
What are your thoughts on them?

Recently purchased a soap from them called "Monet". Not quite sure what the problem is, but it seems to produce quite a frail lather and also lubrication is weak at best.

Haven't changed my lathering technique at all: scoop, bloom 1 min in bowl, create lather with half wet brush. This method is efficient with all other soaps I've used so far, where I get loads of thick lather.

Have any of you guys had any problems with other soaps from AYLM?

Interesting.
I haven't personally bought any AYLM, however, a very kind member sent me a significant sample of the Ishtar soap. I face lather and using both tap and bottled water, failed to get anything other than airy lather that dissipated on the face. I tried a bowl, too, to no avail. I used synthetic brushes that generally lather just about everything.
Another member here bought a sample of Ishtar, bowl lathers, and also was unimpressed. I have no answer.

After some more tests, realized that it needed lots of water. But this wasn't the ultimate solution.
Tried lathering with almost no water in the brush on first bowl rotation. After that gradually added water. Indeed it's very thirsty.
The end result was significantly larger in lather volume, but still airy to me and also lubrication was below weak.

In a world full of fine soaps like AE, Lodrino, Stirling, Areffa etc it is pointless to waste shaves on a bad soap.

I get good lather, seems like a very water sensitive soap, this reminds me of Mystic Water and Meissner Tremonia, a lot of guys did not get good performance.

Probably the solution is more soap or a synthetic brush. I gave up very quickly and will never purchase one of the croaps. The hard soaps sound interesting but the high price is prohibitive.

I mostly use it now as a face soap, which is really a fine treat, I must say, dear sir

I’ve wanted to try the brand for a while and finally committed to Laureato and Krokos.

I couldn’t get a decent lather until I found I really had to over load it. To put it into figures, I need about 1g of A&E, B&M etc for a 2-3 pass. With Laureato I need 2.5x that and Krokos 5x. Otherwise the lather is weak. I will say that even at those rates my usual artisans soap performs way better. Residual slickness being an obvious difference.

For the cost of these, especially Krokos, I will not buy again but at least my curiosity is now satisfied.

I have the Abbate Y La Mantia - Neroli Siciliano and I totally love it. Very easy to lather and the scent is out of this world

AYLM soaps are one of the biggest frauds in wet shaving.

At least for me. Too expensive for what they can offer, tried at first with the older formula (Don José). Nothing more than pure, airy lather, with no good performance at all.

Then moved to Buttero (2021 formula) . The scent is excellent. The lather was not that bad than Don José, but still miles away from some US artisan soaps. I always had to overload, to get a lather that wasn't as dense as I prefer.

This brand never could get a place in my den, just like Le Pere Lucien.

On the other hand, Lainess (with Donkey Milk) was a much better soap and I recommend it.

Their soaps containing donkey milk, goat milk, cow milk are indeed better. An example would be for me "Fufluns" which I've recently used and it's a big difference in performance when compared to "Monet" for example.
