Definitely cute but also a nice and genuine sentiment. People and their interactions are more important than a collection of trinkets, bibelots or objet d'arte that we use for shaving..as much as we (myself included) love these items.
Maybe a bit deep for a Friday morning but hopefully you get what I mean. But it was a good and humbling post Nishy ! Bravo Sir!

My Panta Rei brush. It was made to my design, which is significant to me. It's the only shaving related item I wouldn't sell.

This is exactly what attracts me to Panta Rei brushes, unique and sentimental possibilities. Did you request a specific artwork design? I’m wondering if it’s possible to send Panta Rei a doodle from my kids and see what they can do, that would would be a keeper.

At the moment my Geoff Anderson Jade-Cocobolo GA7 Shavemac 2-band is my “Never sell” item.

I asked for a design featuring a rainbow - he sourced one and checked it out with me; but I know he will do specific designs so definitely worth asking.

I have to say as well that Alessandro was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the brush is top notch in terms of performance.

I only have - or need - two razors, two brushes, a scuttle and a mug, so not really anything to sell. If I had to pick one thing out of that to keep, it would be the Gillette Slim razor.

I requested a handle with a design from two photos that I sent Alessandro. They did a marvelous job with it and I was amazed at how they were able to put my thoughts into their artwork. I'm attaching a few photos so you can see what I mean. I wanted Mount Vesuvio in the background because I live in Naples and I also sent a photo I took from the balcony of a hospital where my second son was born.
