For those of you who also purchased the razor stand does your Winner razor fit properly in the stand? I have to balance it in place to stand properly or else the razor tilt a few degrees to the side. Not very happy with the razor stand.

Thanks to p.b. I now have one of these.
First shave this morning and I’m very impressed, good audible feedback with a tiny amount of blade feel. I had a quick 3 pass shave with an Astra SP and didn’t feel in danger of slicing my face open but got an excellent result with no irritation or nicks at all.
As has been mentioned it does suck to your face like my Ti Henson but I can cope with that. I might try it on a Ti handle tomorrow?

Hadn’t used the Winning razor in a bit. Went with a fresh Feather and 3 passes later with a minor chin buff, I was squeaking like Flipper waiting for a treat.

If you’re a stickler for supreme smoothness and glide from your shave tool once your lathered up with your soap and just can’t wrap your head around that suction/vacuum/drag type feeling, then more than likely this razor will not be one you’ll reach for if you own multiple razors. Yes, it’s a different feel that might throw you off a bit but, the results speak for themselves time and time again. Very little blade feel yet it cuts effectively while being very skin friendly. I’ll be taking mine down to the shop to buff & polish it to see if it helps with that suction like feel that it exhibits. I don’t think it will eliminate it completely as that is just the inherent result of the razors design but, it wouldn’t hurt and I like things that shine…..

I have used this razor for 2 weeks, and I like it very much. This razor shaves very similar to the Henson razor as they have similar profiles in design. The Winning razor is more efficient than the mild Henson and slightly less then the aggressive version. It is not as smooth as others because there is a suction effect as many have described, however it is comfortable enough to deliver exceptional shaves. I’ll try polishing mine as well to see if the smoothness can increase. This razor shines when shaving against the grain because it delivers a very close shave while not cutting into the skin.

I have thought about sanding the head to match the brush finish of the handle. For me, brush finishes edge out my mirror polished finishes on my razors. I just like brush finishes better.

I’ve had about 10 to 12 shaves with this razor now and am very impressed. Despite the tiny blade gap it’s surprisingly efficient and still smooth. It seems to pair beautifully with a Personna Med Prep for me (this morning was probably the 7th or 8th shave with the same blade)
it’s amazing value for a stainless razor as definitely in my rotation now

Just a real good shave this morning with the Winning razor. Paired it again with a Feather and 2 days growth gone in 3 ho-hum passes. Irritation? Nothing. Weepers? Nada. Nics or cuts? Zilch. BBS? Oh Yeah. Yes, I know that it feels like a Hoover running around your face with the pet hair attachment but, the results don’t lie on the quality shave that it gives shave after shave after shave. Think about it. A stainless steel alloy razor for under $50 US that gives one an easy and quite comfortable shave? Name me ONE that delivers this good a shave at the same price point and made of the same alloy as the Winning Razor. No, the Mamba .70 scratch & dent doesn’t count ($39.99 by the way as of this past Friday - great deal).

It’s a banger, gents…..
