The Perfect Shaving Bowl?

My go to bowl is the Fine Accoutrements bowl. The perfect width and I like the handle. It would be perfect if it was (A) an inch deeper to stop lather coming over the sides and (B) made of plastic, with the internal ridges slightly higher to add lather building even more.

I have the PAA Indestructible Scuttle, which is plastic. I bought it for travelling (I only need a bowl at home as I shave in the shower courtesy of a fog free mirror). But I find the width a little too small and the depth a little too deep For my liking. If it’s bowl was the same size as the Fine Accoutrements, it would be a perfect scuttle.

So if anyone knows people at a company that makes shaving stuff, maybe you could send them my post and suggest they make a Fine Accoutrements size bowl in plastic (an inch deeper) and maybe I can stop collecting bowls/scuttles.

I totally agree its my favorite lathering bowl along with a stainless steel shaving bowl i use these 2 exclusively and dont need any other.

I use this lathering bowl exclusively at the moment with the roundwall so u can place the shaving brush on the side and it doesn't fall in the bowl like with the straight wall bowl.

Face lathering is definitely something to consider. This sold me on the practice.

That looks pretty thin and full of air. Use your face, and a good boar brush that you haven't soaked in water.

I face lather or just use an old empty TOB's tub that I keep for anything that needs whipping up.

That looks pretty thin and full of air. Use your face, and a good boar brush that you haven't soaked in water.

I like the foam wet.
