I was very fortunate to be one of the early Beta Testers of the Lambda Razors Brontes. I will share my review of that version. The pictures above don't do it justice. Yes, I am a Lambda fanboy. That is because it is a fantastic product, both in aesthetics and in functionality. But this Brontes takes the experience to a whole new level. My version of the razor was an efficient and ultra smooth razor. The angle range was large. With a steeper angle, there was some modest blade feel which disappeared with using a shallower angle. The razor glided across the face with unbelievable comfort and unequaled efficiency. The shape of the head is small enough to be very maneuverable, similar to the Vector and the Amakuni, both of which I currently have. I also have the La Faulx Ti Classic. The Brontes shave was better than all. I say that knowing that Theo has made changes to the head geometry. Those changes apparently made the shave even better in a comfort/efficiency manner.
The only qualm a had was the handle. I felt it was too light, thin and short. Theo has made the necessary changes and the weight/balance and feel have improved dramatically.
I can only imagine how good the finished product will be. Theo is a craftsman and magician.
