The home audio thread: what’s your setup

Just got me a Mission 778X. Upgraded from a Monitor Audio A100 (lifestyle / streamer amp)
Currently have Monitor Audio Silver S6 speakers (20 years old now) but the Mission has them singing.

Crossley Portable Turntable (need a proper one)

Amp and speakers are a few years old but I like them. All my music is on Mac Air which I connect up 3.5 to phono. I’ll get a turntable sometime and get the vinyl going.

New. Cell phone with XM app and blue tooth portable Boss speaker. Fits in my carry on for travel. Very portable

I use Sonos Speakers around the house and stream content through my phone. Since doing this for the last 10 years I’m out of the loop of current technology. What the benefits of a streamer amp over the setup I use now? I use not ask as I recently bought some wired headphones and have really been enjoying listening to lossless audio through my laptop.
