The ENOCH Razor

Short and sweet. How did it shave? Very well thank you very much. First things first is this is not an original Occam’s or O.R.E.N razor in feel and performance. The floating blade design is now replaced by the traditional rigid and vice like hold and full support of the top and bottom plates. Does it just as good as an Rx, Vector, ATT SE1 and any other AC designed razor. The razor feels balanced along the whole length of it with a high quality look to it.
The shave itself with the Enoch was efficient in that 2 passes and some minor buffing along the chin and jawline produced A BBS result. The shave was comfortable and smooth yet, there is enough blade feel that in no way is this considered a mild razor. Actually, it’s very similar in shave feel to the Blackland Vector and shares the small head profile along with being very close in design (nearly identical) to the Asylum Rx, though nowhere near as blade forward feeling. It has design attributes of both yet still exhibits it’s own feel and performance. It has a nice balance of smoothness & efficiency and shaves equally as good as any other AC styled razor.
I’ll shave with it for a full week and see how it delivers and performs with other brands of blades. I have no doubt that it will be a consistently good performer.....

Thank you for the review. Yes the Enoch is aggressive and really is the same head as the Cobra Classic. It has a bunch more blade and angle. I personally have to be careful with that razor or I bleed. I go really fast and forget to respect the blade exposure.
I hope you all like it. I know if you prefer a mild shave like me or Mantic you will most likely not have the Enoch as your go-to. But since Classic has been missing an aggressive affordable SE we made the Enoch.

Enoch is a great SE. Any chance we could get the same points deal on the Enoch that you're offering on the Hiram? My son is going to need a razor in a couple years and I'm afraid he might try to call the "old man" out if he doesn't have his own Enoch.

I think you succeeded in producing a quality razor for those that prefer a mid-aggressive razor that bridges the gap between comfort and efficiency with a very competitive price tag. But, regardless of price it's a formidable shaver that hangs with all of the higher priced hitters in the AC market and is very close in shave feel to the iconic Cobra Classic.Thank you for the review. I received my Enoch on Saturday and finally got around to shaving this morning. Thanks for the extra gifts in the package, I look forward to giving the shaving soap and the smoulder scent a try!
My Enoch razor was delivered with a dull razor blank installed. When I pulled the razor out of the box, it was solid. No rattle at all. This did a great job of inspiring confidence. If you are purchasing this as a gift, the packaging sends nice message- it's says "Whatever is in here, it's special" loud and clear.
The Enoch looks great! Compared to the Vision, the razor is very light. The handle is a bit shorter than the Feather or the Vision. It is easy to grip and feels good in the hand
The blade has an even exposure relative to the guard and there was no detectable play in the razor head. There are no instructions in box, but none are needed.
Shaving:
My usual razor is a Merkur Vision with Feather blades, set to about a 3 (between the I and the S on the Vision.) Or a straight. Or a Feather Adjustable DE set to a 3. I have a heavy beard and use Ogallala shave soap.
I used Feather ProGaurd blades for my first run with the Enoch. While the Enoch has been described as an aggressive razor, with these blades I found it to be very forgiving. I'd be pleased to hand this razor with these blades to a person who was new to wet shaving.
That said, with a three day beard and the ProGaurd blades it took a bit of work finish my first pass. I did a three pass shave without any nicks or scrapes. I'll give it another run on 24 hour beard to see how the ProGaurd blades work on a normal shave.
This is a wonderful product and it's unlikely to wear out in my lifetime. I look forward to having this in my rotation!

Shave #2 just as good if not better than the first with the Enoch. The Feather Pro blade can feel a bit harsh like on its first to second shave. None of that with the Enoch as it really just feels comfortable and gives direct feedback on exactly what the blade & razor are doing in unison. Almost Cobra like on how it takes down the whiskers. Very impressive so far....

Happy to say my razors are on the way , unhappy to say customer services at Classic Shaving seem to have forgotten about their promise to group my 3 orders together and refund the excess shipping charges .

Super smooth with the Schick was the Enoch. Had to take a quick looksy to make sure I installed one. But, still removed the whiskers effectively without a single issue. BBS in a glorious 3 passes with no buffing required. A real good shave truth be told. The Enoch has been a wonderful surprise so far. A great evening and shaves to all...
