At risk of sounding like an old git, I realised some time ago that moderating my drinking was made wholly worthwhile by not feeling like death the next day.

I went out on Friday and had a wonderful evening until this happened.

I stepped into a pot hole while walking in virtual darkness and to make matters worse I only had two pints at the time.

I left it until my hands were forced to visit the hospital last night.
7 hours later and I have crutches and a boot that I am sure belongs to Robocop.

Cant drive and am way behind with my shopping.

I am going stir crazy already but I did manage a shave of sorts today.

Can’t say I’m able to interpret what’s wrong with your bones from the photo but I take your word for it. Get well, mate! Hope it’s not too painful.

Correct. If you look to the left of the pic you will see a curser pointing at the break in two places.
