Thanks for your comments Alex.

Is the blade removal as annoying as the Vector? Everytime I'm tempted to try the Vector Lite I remember the pain of changing blades.

Maybe I'll hold out for the Lambda AC instead... or just use my brass General.
If you ever get bored of that brass general……

is Lambda making a AC?

In my experience the Amakuni and Vector are very similar in blade feel and efficiency and are perfect for me and I would commonly use them both with Feather Pro or Schick Proline. I prefer the Vector simply because I prefer its light head and balance but love the Amakuni blade changing system - it’s simple genius.

The Spirit is slightly too mild and I prefer to use it with a Pro Super, but it’s a delight to use.

The Atelier is about the same blade feel and efficiency as the Vector when you get the angle right.

Alex (@Ventastic) and Paul (@p.b), thanks for answering my earlier message #25. I liked the look of the Atelier, when it was released but just wasn't sure about it. I already have both the LF & Vector, and I think that for me and from what you have written - there's no need to purchase the Atelier, based on just looks alone.
Faulx is still the best SE I’ve tried.

The Atelier is still quite new to me, and now going for a 5th Shave.I was determined not to rush and worked each area till the blade indicated that it had done its work.Unfortunately I seem to be incapable of getting the Shave angle right, and despite spending more time than usual on the Shave, the finish quality is poor. This Razor is proving to be as frustrating as the original Supply SE.will try it with a Feather Pro next.
