Good point, unfortunately this American browser running on an American OS running on an American laptop likes to spell things the American way and I'm ashamed to say I can't always be bothered to correct it.
You've just added to my fears......

Edit... 51st state and all that.

Wait till you see the prices for audio books
I can “sort of” understand audiobooks, as no doubt there is a royalty payment to the reader, which in my mind shouldn’t be as much as to the author, as the author created it over many hours and the reader just spent a few hours reading it out.
Plus there is a cost for retakes and editing etc.
For physical books, there is a physical cost, paper, cover, printing (inks, machines that have a cost, maintenance and operator).
Kindle, once it’s on their system, it feels like it takes up server space and nothing more, the same product can be resold millions of times with very little overhead.

Now Nishy, what is your Supernatural experience?

I’ve had the same thing a couple of times with music. I don’t really want the physical CD but sometimes it’s been cheaper to buy the disc and rip it myself than to buy the download.

As for the supernatural, don’t believe in it.

Makes no sense, just greed by amazon / kindle or the music download service you used.

I’m with you on the supernatural - the same with UFOs, Loch Ness monster, mediums etc

Though I wish I was wrong
