Sadly, I have to decline the purchase. Thanks for the opportunity, I’m sure the members will enjoy the LE Semogue.

Hello everyone,

It looks like the price is pulling many of you out. I agree it is a lot of money but it is hard to say at this stage that it doesn’t worth it. We don’t know yet the brush final look or the hair quality. I trust Semogue and I believe they’ll come with something really special. Also this is a good opportunity for us all to have an ATG LE shaving brush for first time (please correct me if I’m wrong). Unfortunately the Shavemac never saw the sunlight.
Only 50 names required… start saving money now and by the time the brush is ready it won’t be too painful.

The price wasn't the deal breaker. At the moment it's too close to my other brushes and the regular line up from Semogue. I do have other LE Semogues. Will reconsider once we see a prototype and get some more details.

I think the Shavemac LE is still possible but @Nishy has been incredibly busy.
Clearly a Shavemac brush would cost more than this one.

I'm not sure we actually need to reach 50, as they'll simply sell the remaining brushes (or all of them in the first place) on Vintage Scent. At least that's what they've been doing with previous LEs; you can still buy two versions of the 2021 Spanish Shavers LE right now.

(No idea though how close we have to get to that number to make it happen.)

An Anchor 2band unique fan will do😁

Not sure why I had problems posting before. Now I finally can. When it was going off the models I would've loved to seen the Semogue 2010 LE make a reappearance in a 28mm knot and a different color for the shelf. Next would've been the Horn handle Size 3, or any of those would've been good really. Hopefully in the future they can get up to a 28mm as I'm having a hard time accepting anything less than that unless I like the handle. I got that handle already. Silvertip is my preferred hair too.

Definitely want to see it come to fruition even if I don't go for one, and maybe I'll change my mind. I never did buy the LE with a finest knot with this handle, and 26mm isn't terrible in size. I'd be beyond enthused to see some Semogue acrylic making it into more LEs. I believe I have all of those that got to be LEs, well except for the synthetic.

Read most of this thread really hope it gets off the ground. It will be a legendary brush like most are no doubt. The only brush I need from Semogue is a Torga C3 in Silvertip. One of my unobtanium rule of wants... Good Luck looking forward to the final product.

I was using my Shavemac Coral resin brush the other day and thought something along this color would be an excellent alternative to the standard color options that Semogue usually offers. I own 33 different Semogue brushes in various resins and woods but a coral or possibly an Alpolina Cream would be strikingly different.

So do "we" think this is still moving forward?
About two days ago I have “talked” to Leon from Vintage Scent, I was asking about the prototype and also some quotes for a wood handle to see if the price could get lower somehow, he answered that they’re going to do it and make a shot on doing one with a 28mm knot.
Sorry to everyone for the time that it’s taking.
