Eufros and SV are two of the top European soaps. I would add Fitjar. Fitjar Havn is wonderful but they're all good.

I think you should get two, one mass market and one artisanal.

Definitely Speick shaving stick or cream with matching aftershave, it's one of the best irrespective of price (smells lush too.) For artisan i'd go with any of the aforementioned, SV or Eufros but not Stirling, I hate that stuff.

I'm using SV Felce for a month and loving it. That's my tip for the top.

...strange how a soap's price can still be equated with performance, the two are often not linked. And some of the artisan soap makers are anything but...Great to see champions for many different soaps though...an enjoyable journey...try as much as you can as your own preferences will likely be just that - your own...

All that question and you'll get a list of favourites. Another vote for my favourite soap, Wickham. TOBS cream along with Geo Trumper might be with considering, just get a different scent to try.
