Steaming a knot out

Does anyone know the best epoxy for setting the knot? I've just ordered a 24mm Maseto to put back in.

I used cheapy stuff off eBay for the last one I glued in. I've used the same glue for allsorts and it has been fine:

I've used marine silicone, Wayne. If you ever want to replace the knot, won't be as tough a job as it was this time! And it holds plenty.

Edit: A final advantage- if you're not sure about which loft to set it at!

I was wondering about silicone sealant I use it to hold back bathroom basins to the wall and I've never had one move yet.

Blimey what brand is that? I wouldn't trust the stuff I've used! Lol. Might buy your stuff in future.

Dow Corning every time.

Assume waterproof and adhesion to the materials important, not sure about flexibility or other factors.

A two-part marine epoxy would be best.

Yes. That is what artisans like Rudy Vey and others recommend. I've used it with great success.

I always use a two part epoxy. I use this and never had a trouble and I have a brush with more 300 uses glued with it

Be careful when you stick the knot, if you put too much glue in the hole it is very easy to overflow and stain the hair
