My Hone 15s arrived yesterday and given my complete lack of patience, I just had to use it this morning. A couple of thoughts on seeing the razor for the first time. I had always appreciated the design aesthetics from the various photos. The razor is even better looking in person. Its matte finish and minimalist design are fantastic. The 15s is heavy and feels solid in the hand. I went with a three pass shave with touch ups ending in a drama free BBS shave. The razor has a very wide sweet spot and depending on the angle there is some blade feel. The 15s was smooth and easy to use. I will continue to use it for this week at least. Thank you @Calm_Shaver great to read, I wish you many happy shaves!Hone Ss arrived today. I put it to the test with the Feather blade supplied. I was not disappointed. A wonderful, Super smooth close shaving experience. It was effective as it left me with a Wonderful BBS on the 48hrs growth. No irritation. Awesome razor on its first shave. It has some blade feel (which I appreciate) and the Hone really tamed the Feather. All in all, my initial first shave in the books was a Success. Next up with a Kai and more exposure. Sod’s law and annoyingly my purchase is being delayed due to a crap bed needing replacing and my wife and I ‘agreeing’ to raid my shaving savings pot, (just as I reached enough to order as well!) with luck it won’t take me too long to save again but until then a pass around would be great!
No doubt this razor is worth a couple of months of sleeping on a mattress.

I own both Lee. As you can see from the bst I am down to 5 razors now and that is the doing of the vector.
1. Rocnell sailor.
2. Steel hone.
3. Pils 101.
4. Tatara muramasa.
5. Blackland vector.
I also have put my brass hone in the safe as that is a trophy piece.
I still haven't used my steel hone Lee and I feel most guilty after seeing some of the posts. Sincerest respects as always my friend. J.

I thought you had both! I remembered though your on your 1 month 1 razor regime so won't get to try it until May. I'm too impatient to wait I have my birthday money/savings to burn and it'll get used elsewhere if I don't spent it soon no doubt! I feel the same about my Hone brass and will never move it on. I sense the Vector would push out the Hawk and obviously the clone I have in the Excalibur. I feel torn on my Blackbird and Rockwell 6s just as I begin to waiver and decide to move them on, I get a damn near perfect shave from them, today is a perfect example with the Blackbird giving the closest and smoothest shave I've had in weeks. My Masumune is always lovely, I love the Leaf but I'm finding it a little soul-less of late, too easy to shave with and more a tool to touch up any misses under the nose, and think my Tech could do this job. For those of you in the UK that already have yours any idea how long it took to arrive? Mine shipped on the 21st but I’ve had no update on the postage tracker since then. I’m sure it’s on the way and I’m guessing it won’t be much longer but if doesn’t arrive today it’ll be past it’s estimated delivery slot. I don’t mind but it very hard to avoid and hide these toys from the wife when you don’t know when they are coming!
