Spam Emails

Can you give me a reference point as to whether I am cursed by spam or it is just an average amount.

I seldom used to see any, maybe one a week, two weeks ago this went up to 20 a day, standard fare of free spins, casino stuff. I did my best to block them using phrases such as 'contains the words' delete or From fields.

The list of blocked words or addresses was huge, well over 100, yesterday I cancelled all the blocks and today, no Spam at all.


Is 15-20 a day spam emails a reasonable, perhaps that should be typical, amount number in your experience?


Must admit, they drive me nuts.

I don’t think about them. Mine are fake financial accounts asking for me to log in, unpaid bills, warnings of account closure, or cloud recovery.

since getting into the internets 15+ moons ago... we've used multiple email accounts... one is for important things and rarely gets spam... the free email accounts are for fun things and 1 is our firstish email account... hardly get emails we want... 50+ spam 24hrs a day...

There is another forum that is dead on its feet, owned by someone who doesn't care about the quality of his forum and who takes part. There are a huge number of spammers posting in many different languages, posting on every dirty subject you can imagine.

This is not like me but I engaged in conversation with one of them, I asked why he did it because no one in their right mind would click on his links.

He had no benefit from the links but is paid according to the number of posts in forums in a day, he went on, I am poor, there is no work apart from doing this and I make only just enough to feed my family, four of us live in one small room, I have no future
