I have tried them all!
But I do think Speick and B&M are more suitable for my skin and now they don’t have that iconic bottle I’m far less inclined to rebuy ☹
I love Formula K and Limon so will decant those into the new bottles as I replace them but I think it’s a massive shame and a commercial misstep to lose the fluted bottles.
They say that the old ones will be back and that it was a problem with the distributor, we are still waiting.

My Shave today consisted of...
Prep Hot water.
Blackland Shaving Towel.
Brush Zenith Copper Boar.
Soap Hampshire no3.
Razor Henson A+++.
Blade Feather.
Aftershave Proraso Green Refreshing.

Tonight I thought I would do a face and head shave with the Henson A+++, as I have not done that before.
I have to admit it was very good, there's ni denying that it is great for the head.

The Hampshire No3 was another first for me and it produced a slick lather that left a lovely post shave feel afterwards on my skin, I look forward to trying my other soaps from this company as I get to them.
My New Zenith copper brush is now starting to show signs of breaking and and that's great news because I love boar brushes.

All in all, an 8.5/10 shave.

That's it.

Enjoy your night, everyone.

Greetings,

A wonderful lather from the HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) The Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils gives the soap a pleasant mild medicinal scent with a wonderful post shave feel from the lanolin making my mature rhino skin feel superb.

I count myself very fortunate that that my skin type doesn't have any adverse reaction from the lanolin & essential oils that are added to the HWF soaps.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.😉

Keep safe and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.😎

For this week:

razor | Osprey
blade | Gillette “blacks”
brush | PAA Peregrino
soap | Macduff’s Wild Rose Country
AS | House of Mammoth Tobacconist Balm and witch hazel

The Osprey and the Gillette Super Platinum blade is ever so smooth. Same feel as a fresh Nacet in the Blackbird.

Macduff’s simply is a great performer. Looking very much forward to this week’s shaves!

Enjoy your days as much as your shaves
