That's an interesting looking razor.
I couldn't find anything about a "JIEHUAD Ti".
Would you mind sharing some more information about it?
Cheers.
Hi slapo,

Yes sure - it was on Amazon.ca and took a chance as about as expensive as a Ti handle only. Is a bit aggressive and have to pay attention - as a couple shaves in was too inattentive and got a divot on the chin - "fore". So not as automatic as some other DE razors. Do like the handle shape though and think it is all Ti material.

Here is the Amazon listing description:
  • "Manufactured with CNC Machinery and 100% titanium alloy Steel this razor is practically indestructible and should last a lifetime
  • The patterned handle assures a sure grip on the razor, even with wet and soapy hands
  • Locking and tightening the razor blade in the head is simple, intuitive and allows the user no margin of error during assembly..
  • The large drainage holes make it extraordinarily easy to clean - a quick jet of water is enough to completely remove the shave cream from the safety bar during shaving.
  • Our Computer Aided designed 45 degree shaving angle on the razor head provides a smooth, comfortable and close shave. It is the perfect Double Edge razor for those who have never owned a safety razor before as well as for those that are experienced with one."
This last part - is a rougher translation :confused:and contradicts the description above, somewhat, and perhaps more accurate . . . as do require two passes - and probably not for "newborns":
"Titanium razor, the entire razor is CNC machined from solid TC21 titanium alloy with a stonewashed finish for a smooth and more flattering finish! This model is more irritating, a shave to the end, do not need to go a second time, newborns are not recommended on!"

Thank you kindly. :)

A Google search couldn't quite find it for me the first time around, but I was able to find it on Amazon.ca now:
The Amazon.com listing even has a short video of it: https://www.amazon.com/Manufactured-Machinery-Titanium-beginners-experienced/dp/B0DKT5RHHH (that blade handling does leave something to be desired, though)

The design has some interesting elements.

Van der Hagen TTO razor
Van der Hagen stainless steel blade
Van der Hagen deluxe badger brush
Van der Hagen delux shaving soap
Canoe aftershave

Hot shower prep with Axe 3 in 1 wash

This felt like a good Van der Hagen night. The soap ran up a thick lather if a bit stringy. Two passes and an amazingly close comfortable shave. Canoe to finish.

May you all have a happy and productive New Year.
