Yesterday after using the MdC Fougére just the once I had razor bumps all over my neck and even on my cheeks and this morning while face lathering it I instantly had stinging and tingling so clearly Fougére is no good for my skin which is a shame as I really liked the scent

Thought I’d go with safe bet, used Mike’s and had an excellent shave.

I read about this miracle in the early 2000s on B&B … As many others stuffs MDC is overrated since always imho . A good soap nothing else .

Very impressed with the WS blade which is sharp, long-lasting and amazingly smooth. The MSP Cool Water soap has virtually no odour in the tin but it comes alive and smells great once lathered. The Coty Aspen compliments it well at the finish. Enjoy your shaves everyone...

A very nice 2 pass shave with pick ups for an easy BBS finish. The GKC head is efficient enough for the the job and fitted with the HD handle feels really nice in the hand.
The AP400B whipped up enough lather for 3 full passes from very little loading of the OSP soap.
I had a very nice post shave routine to finish off.

How are you finding the Osprey?

Only second shave but first impressions are good. Tomorrow I 'll try setting 9. One of the next days I may also try without the insert as I find the razor a bit heavier than what I like

My Menthol Madness Monday S.O.T.D today consisted of......
Prep Hot Wash.
Brush Highlander LE2023 Boar.
Soap Hampshire no3 & Cryogen.
Razor's Henson & Charcoal Goods Brass Stinger.
Blade Iridium super.
Aftershave Folk Soap Bay Rum.

Today's shave was another run with this tuck of Iridium super blades.
They have all been awful and harsh, I am so convinced that it's either a Fake or duff tuck because the reviews say this blade rocks.
I have just ordered 200 from Connaught because the real ones can't be this bad.
Watch this space.

a solid 4.5/10 shave.
