Forum GOD!
I don’t know C&H. Who is this brush maker? Very clever of them to hide a compass in the butt end of a (very attractive) handle. The knot has an outrageous golden hue! When you see that, it’s generally a safe bet that it will be an awesome face latherer. Knots like that are a rare breed :okay:
Alright mate it’s Chisel & Hound.
He done a serious of brushes where he was out trekking with his family & found pieces of wood which he air dried & treated and made in to the handles.
Hence the name Adventure Series.
This knot is decent enough but i feel chisel & hound knots are over gelled although i haven’t bought one in a couple of years.
Saying that i guess you only get what you get from the supplier

Thanks for the info. I understand when you say, “over gelled.” I wonder if brush makers will ever ask the hair suppliers to stop over treating the knots.
Enjoy your shaves!
