A wonderful 2 pass shave. 9+/10

The blade mellowed out after yesterday’s outing. The harshness has dissipated. Blade, razor and muscle memory were on autopilot. Fab. Gear.

I will cut it short; Soap is a shaving miracle, performance based, 45 seconds of loading time and several minutes of aggressive face lathering were enough to produce a monstrous voluminous dense lather.

Slickness off the charts, the razor is mild but bites and it's difficult to get a quick BBS, needs buffing and skin stretching.

If I had to choose 3 top bases ATM would be Omnibus, Ultima and this one.

Obviously there are a bunch of other excellent soaps out there but these 3 exceed my expectations every time.

Water tolerance especially is from another planet @LazarosTZ

Saturday 8th August...

A quick shave tonight after travelling back. The difference between hard and soft water is unbelievable in terms of slickness. I could barely rinse the shavette or get my hands washed off. Crazy stuff. Blade was an RK Pro Edge #2.

Cool shower with Dial antibacterial soap

My morning shower repeatedly delayed by passing thunderstorms. I've had more weather holds than NASA today. I finally got a cool shower to strip off the sweat and grime. I'm getting proficient in face lathering the Arko creams. Two lathered passes and a cleanup against the grain yielded a true BBS. Aqua Velva yielded the perfect cooling finish. It's time to retire to the lawn chair for a pipe of Carter Hall.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Traditional Bar Soap with Coal Tar Fragrance.
Brush: Lider Turkish Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Derby Shave Stick.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated.(D2)
Razor: Parker 22R.

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Alcolado Glacial Mentholated Splash./Aloe Vera Sensitive Aftershave Gel.

Can I ask why the thunderstorms mean you have to put your shower on hold? I live in the UK so completely different weather here.
