Finally found some time again to take some pictures and write a short piece again.

Blade comparison: Polsilver stainless (vintage) versus Personna Comfort coated

Fourth shave with this blade, again in the Lupo 95. Very pleasant, comfortable and good shave, excellent result. The best so far. Perhaps the soap was part of this outcome, very good soap and a keeper!

Baxter's of California balm, bought when amazon were selling them for next to nothing, very nice balm but leaves a slightly odd coated feeling. Scent is a mix of Al Aneeq CPOs, Tobacco Twist and Oud Sahara. 2 passes and pickups.

I am finding it hard to believe that having given up on Cart Razors because of the usual skin problems I was experiencing, I am happily using one. Probably my technique has improved, and with a good lather and light touch I am getting quality Shaves with no problems.
I think that main reason for this success is the excellent Schick twin blade which has no gimmicky lub strips, just a device to assist in rinsing it. This rather unplanned purchase is turning out to be a winner, and the blades are still around so I have a little Stacie.

Swapped out the Personna blade for one I’ve not had much success with in the past and perversely had a very good shave. Also first use of the Chubby 3 Sovereign fibre (although not labelled as such) it’s definitely a Sovereign fibre and very good too. @Levi still no clue as to your brush!
