Initially I didn't like the XPEC or the Cologne Russe scents, but over time I have come to like their musty, dank, Turkish bath tones. I wouldn't want to use them every day, but I enjoy them when they come around in my rotation about once a month. As always, the Wolfman was extremely smooth.

Yesterdays shave as I ran out of time to post, was with my new brush. Suffice to say I’m a happy bunny with it, it feels amazing in the hand, really well weighted and balanced. The knot is similar to a denser, more full Synbad, soft but with added backbone and thickness of the fibres. It feels like nothing else I have, creating fabulous soft pillows of lather. I’m delighted with the finished brush and have another order ready to go once payday hits!
SOTN (Head & Face)
Face - Yaqi Tile,House of Mammoth Indigo (soap, splash & balm)
Head - Leaf Razor, Arko Shave Cream
Alpha Outlaw brush - G4 knot
First outing for the Tile which gives a sweet shave, no doubt about it. Nice and smooth with excellent blade clamping, still with little blade feel (well for me anyway but then I don't seem to notice blade feel all too well
). As someone who has an AL13++ and has a Gen1 AL13+++ it definitely feels way smoother than the aggressive head, although this may be due to the heft from the stainless. I don't know if I'd say it's more aggressive than the medium, maybe a touch, but I'd say it's certainly closer to the medium than the aggressive.
The other star of the show though was the Arko shave cream as recommended by a post in a group in another platform, I don't normally bother posting anything specifically about my head shaves (normally use a cream and do them in the shower) but this stuff is class. The afore mentioned poster was bang on with this recommendation, so much so I'm tempted to ask him which Lottery number he's liking the looks of this week
