A sublime shave. The zamak Mellon is a very pleasant razor, although it sacrifices a bit of efficiency for comfort. DFS is easy, but BBS is a bit of a task, and I wasnt going in for a third pass. 9.8/10.

I have been looking forward to todays shave. I had decided to use a Personna injector, however, as i know these blades can be a bit harsh on the 1st outing i have palm stropped the blade 3 times for 60 laps. I decided to use the Signature soaps for its brilliant cushioning lather to assist.
I found the razor very easy to load and could probably load it without fully taking it apart - maybe.
So, the first couple of strokes told me it is a very efficient razor, and yes these strokes were a little harsh, with some slight adjustments to the angle and then the blade smoothing out things began to click. After the WTG pass i was nigh on clean. I lathered up again and completed an ATG pass, after checking there were a couple of spots in my more troublesome areas around the Adams apple and high cheeks which were cleared with a little XTG buffing, finished, no issues at all.
I had a nice post shave routine without any indication from the splash at all.
I think we are going to get along together very well.
Thanks again Charlie @chazt
Enjoy your day all.

Sunday 7th June...

Went for one full pass with the shavette today. Couldn't do my bulbous chin or under my lip because quite frankly I couldn't work out how to come at them without cutting myself. It was fairly uneven but very rewarding at the same time too. This won't be something that clicks in three shaves time but slow and steady over a very long period of time. Resting the face next shave up.

Star of the day/week goes to the RK Pro Edge Platinum #3 which has been absolutely rock solid and reliable while I've been doing this over the last few shaves. I'm quite close to putting another in and going again and I can't remember the last one I went back to back with blades.

Have a lovely Sunday...
