The disappointment in the scent is fading and the enjoyment of the soap was dominant. It loads very easily so can be overloaded but for performance it’s up there with B&M Omnibus for me.

The Halo base is definitely a winner.

I've faced the cold hard fact that the only way I'm going to get really ripped abs is if they come in a bottle. I did a three pass shave. I had too many things in play to focus on getting the lather right so I wimped out and used the canned foam. Three passes, good technique and I made it through without irritation or bloodshed. The Afta proved again it was money well spent.

Friday 11th September...

Back onto the Shield Titanium AC razor today and the Feather ProGuard #3 is yielding a little now but still giving great shaves. Haven't used this Hampshire Lanolin in a while and had forgotten just how good it is.

Over the last couple of months I have tended to use some of my lighter Razors, both AC and Injectors. Somehow, I have again been rushing Shaves so that certain areas do not cleared as well as they should. Did slow down my last Shave, but still felt that the finish could be better.
Today, I chose to use my original Claymore Evolution ( limited to Feather blades). Felt quite heavy, but I quickly adopted using the weight to do the work with little pressure technique. A result one of the nicest Shaves. In an age, with a really good all round finish.

I love using this Bi-fold set, the Derby stick used crayon style produced plenty of lather for the shave. A fantastic soap for the cost.

The Gillette Blue Extra blade was probably the weakest part of this excellent shave. The Mühle STF XD is easily my best synthetic knot, I’m always impressed when using it.
