(A)sotd 9th of september 2021.
A potpourri of scents today.
Cold water.
Rasozero agrumella preshave.
TDS anise whipped and applied with a rr400
WSC/Yates with a Derby premium, 5th use.
Cold water.
Stirling bergamot lavender.
I shaved a day of growth off, in a quick and effective manner.
The preshave was a first for me, it makes slick soap even slicker. But then again, glycerine would have had a likewise effect. It smells like lemon ice popsicles, but it fades away quickly once you apply TDS anise. I guess I will only need the preshave in harsh weather, or with a sunburnt skin. It feels like a surplus. A good soap for me will be enough.
It is going to be relatively warm today, 24 to 26 degrees c, the TDS anise will do a nice cooling job the first couple of hours.
The Stirling balm as a dessert concludes a nice shave, but yet another non-matching scent. Hence potpourri.
